IMPORTANT DATES
REGISTRATION HOST
The Booster Club uses a platform called Crossbar to manage registration and teams. You'll be prompted to create a Crossbar account if you don't already have one.
Registration Deadlines
- September 12th - Booster Club Teams 2nd-8th grade
- October 10th - 1st-2nd Grade Coed Skills Clinic
Late Fees
Any registration submitted after the registration deadline will carry a $100 late fee. There is also no guaranty that uniform items will be delivered prior to the start of the season.
BAY AREA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE (BADL)
We are participating in this league again in 2025-2026. This fee is incorporated in the registration.
- 2nd Grade: There is no BADL for 2nd Grade but registration does include your fee for the Larry DeCleene Skills Clinic.
- 3rd - 8th Grade: Cost will be $65 per player.
UNIFORMS
The Booster Club Programs for both boys and girls require that every player purchase a Shooting Shirt, Booster Club jersey and Booster Club shorts annually. Due to the very high number of players we have in most grades, we are not able to take number requests - you will be assigned a number. We apologize but this is the only way we can keep track so we don’t have an overlap in numbers. In several grades we have more than 50 players participating.
All uniform items will be delivered directly to your home by our vendor (BSN). The uniform cost will be $85 to each player. THIS COST IS BUILT INTO THE REGISTRATION FEE. This cost reflects a $11 Booster Club subsidy for each player. Please note that while there is an option to purchase a 2nd uniform, the Booster Club will only subsidize one uniform per player.
SHOOTING SHIRTS
This will be a long-sleeved Nike T-Shirt with the player's last name on the back. *Whatever last name is associated with the player's registration will be the name on the back of the shirt.
THE SHOOTING SHIRTS WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THE SHOOTING SHIRTS WORN BY OUR HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP OUR BRAND CONSISTENT.
Sizing
All Shooting Shirts use men's or youth sizing.
Uniform Fitting Dates
By popular request, there will be two opportunities to try on uniforms to make sure you are ordering the correct size. Sample uniforms will be available in the High School Front Commons area from 6pm-8pm on Tuesday, August 26th and Tuesday, September 9th.
Basketballs

You will have to option to purchase a basketball with the "DP" logo on it through registration this year. A Rock ball will be $60 and a Spalding ball will be $95. They will ship with your uniform items.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT
An organization like the Redbird Basketball Booster Club can only operate with a significant number of volunteers. With that said, there is a mandatory volunteer requirement for each family. It helped greatly with having adequate volunteers for our events! Below are the key points:
- As part of this registration each family will be required to volunteer (generally no more than a 2-hour commitment) during the season. If you have multiple children in the program, you only have to volunteer once.
- There are several dates and opportunities to volunteer. You will have the option to choose your event in the near future.
- 24th Annual 3 on 3 Tournament – This is a large tournament that we host on December 27th or 28th (whichever day ends up being opposite the Packer Game). Volunteers will be needed for admissions, concessions, score tables and miscellaneous duties between the hours of 7am and 9pm.
- 6th - 8th Grade Invitational Tournament - This is a new event we are hosting on December 13-14. Volunteers will be needed for admissions, concessions, scorers tables and miscellaneous duties.
- 6th Grade State – We host the WISCT 6th Grade State Tournament on March 28th and 29th. Volunteers will be needed for admissions, concessions, scorers tables and miscellaneous duties. *Please note that this event is on the front end of De Pere's Spring Break.
- BADL Host Dates – We will be a host site for certain league games throughout the season. Volunteers will be needed for admissions and miscellaneous duties.
- Families of Youth Coaches will not need to further volunteer.
- FAILURE TO SHOW UP TO VOLUNTEER FOR YOUR SELECTED VOLUNTEER EVENT WILL RESULT IN A CHARGE OF $200.00 WHICH WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CARD ON FILE WITH CROSSBAR.
- You also have the option to buy-out of your volunteer requirement for $150.00.
Ellie Schneider Memorial Grants

The Ellie Schneider Redbird Basketball Memorial Grant Fund was established in 2024 following Ellie's courageous battle with cancer. Through the efforts of the Schneider Family, the De Pere Community and the Redbird Basketball Booster Club, a fund was established to help families with limited means enjoy the game of basketball.
Need-based Financial Assistance Available
We understand that playing basketball is a commitment in both time and resources. While the Booster Club makes every effort to keep our fees as low as possible, the financial burden of youth sports can present unique challenges to our De Pere families.
Thanks to the the Ellie Schneider Redbird Basketball Memorial Grant Fund, parents do not have to weigh the financial decision of whether their kids can play Redbird Booster Club Basketball. Funds are available in the form of "Ellie Grants" to provide assistance with registration and uniform costs.
If you are in need of financial assistance with your child's registration costs, please contact Booster Club President, Steve Krueger at sjk@lcojlaw.com. All requests will remain strictly confidential.
We also have gently used basketball shoes for youth players who are in need.
Like Ellie, we want every kids to be "FULL STEAM AHEAD" when it comes to chasing their dreams.
